Tricks for Treats Halloween Rail Jam

Join us October 29th, for our 2nd Annual Tricks for Treats Halloween Rail Jam here at ECWP in Greenville, NC.

The tournament will be broken down into a Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Wakeskate, and Open division and this Halloween, will be held in our System 2 Cable Park.

FORMAT:
Each division will be divided up according to the rider's skill levels, and generally every rider would get about 10 minutes all by themselves, to privately session the park. HOWEVER, we are changing things up for everyone and will be running a "Jam Style" format for each division allowing each rider to ride throughout the entire day as well as mix things up with a variety of different obstacles. Judges will score each rider based on their BEST tricks and rail skills per obstacle, and will award prizes to the top 3 winners in each division accordingly.

PRIZES:
Thanks to our great Sponsors, we have tons of AWESOME Prizes, FREE Product, and FREE Park Passes to give away to the 2nd and 3rd place winners of each division, along with $100 in CASH for the 1st place winners of evey division Beginner-Advanced and $200 for the 1st place winner of the Open division. Hey Everyone. Hope school is going well for those attending and that everyone's still getting a chance to get out and ride in the afternoons/evenings after classes/work and definitely over the weekends when not in work or school. Its been super rainy around here the past week but that hasn't stopped us from getting out to ride the rails!

Anyways, as most may know, the next contest is scheduled for October 29th and will be our annual Tricks for Treats Halloween competition. Last week, we moved all the rails around and switched things up for the contest coming up in a few weeks. We wanted to give everyone plenty of time to come out and get things dialed in for the Halloween Event. We will be working on a possible new addition before the contest so be sure to come and check things out. In the meantime, here is a picture or the setup after we moved everything around! Hey Everyone!!! Spring is definitely here and the weather and water temps are FINALLY here to proove it as well!! Last weekend's competition was a BLAST and we are super excited about all the other stops coming up!! The storms definitely put a damper on the original event plans but we appreciate everyone being so patient and understanding with us post-poning the event to the following Day! We will be hosting a Wakeboard Camp with Pro Riders, Nate Perry and Brian Reeder this summer here at the East Coast Wake Park. The Camp will run 10am-6pm from June 13th-15th, and includes 3 full days of riding and intruction with the Pro Riders, as well as an exclusive ECWP Camp Tshirt, limited only to the Clinic participates. Lunch, and additional food and drinks will be provided and are included in Camp Price.

This is an absolutely beautiful boat and comes fully loaded and ready to use. This boat has always been well serviced, and has been “babied” as the condition will show. You will not find another Super Sport in this excellent of condition and with equal or lower hours!! There are a few minor scratches and marks on the bottom of the hull from use, and a small split in the vinyl on the sun pad but other than that, the boat is absolutely IMMACULATE and the interior is SPOTLESS. It has always been used in fresh water, never salt or brackish and has always been kept indoors and has been winterized each winter, never a hiccup. I have had 2 white wetsound pro80s and a white wetsound pro485, as well as a couple MTX subwoofers installed by YMT here in North Carolina, and they are honestly some of the LOUDEST speakers I have ever heard. The music is clear as day at the end of a wakeboard line and across the lake and sounds great sitting in the boat as well. It comes with a powder coated matching white tower as well as a tower mounted bimini top. I am also throwing in all my lead weight and fat sacs with two pumps as well as a wake line and handle and a men’s and womens LF wakeboard. I am located in Eastern North Carolina and am flexible on meeting someone around the area if they are serious about seeing it. Nate Perry is a NC local from the Lake Norman area but has been living down in Florida and working at The Projects for quite some time now. He's a great guy and a pleasure to shred with and be around.. Between his presses and stylish rail riding, and his awesome ideas for new rails and unique winch spots.. he's definitely a major player in the progression of our sport and will quickly become a vital member of the team and the ShredReady family! Crazy enough... its that time of year again. Crazy shoppers, super long lines, and Santa's workshops set up in every mall. Unfortunately, with the warm weather we've been having, it just doesn't feel like the Holidays and I can't believe that it's already here... Lucky for us, its still really nice and riders are still coming out and shredding with us! We've been busy building a few new rails and one of mine was floated and tested out yesterday! Its a 64 foot Fun box thats suuuuper wide and is soo much fun! Sam Baker, and Matt Deal came up from Wilmington to do alittle riding with the ECWP Crew and got lucky enough to show up for some "test runs" with our GoPro's. It was a beautiful day and we all had an absolute BLAST! I can't wait to go and hit it again. Be on the lookout in the next week or so for another addition at ECWP. It is my goal this winter to fill the park with some awesome and mind blowing obstacles that everyone will be stoked to come and shred next Spring! Stay tuned...

Hey Everyone...

Sorry the delay in responses but we have been super busy! As you know, we were invited last weekend to attend a little wakeboarding demo during the Fall Finale at the US National White Water Center. We had a sweet rooftop rail to session as well as some class 4 RAGIN Rapids to winch up and down. We ended up building a neat little incline off a rock ledge in which we were all really stoked to hit and shred! The crowd was huge and everyone was so pumped on what was going down! Between the riding, the oysters, the bands, etc.. it was a really fun time! ShredReady did an awesome job coordinating everything, as well as Distortion Winches who were there with the best winches to yank us across anything we wanted to hit. Thanks so much to the riders who came out and everyone who was involved to make it happen... and thanks USNWC for allowing us to come out!!

Wakeboard Event- Charlotte, NC -October 23rd

ShredReady Helmets, The East Coast Wake Park, and the US National White Water Training Center have teamed up for a winching exhibition THIS Saturday October 23rd in Charlotte, NC. The event is being held during the Center's Whitewater River Jam Fall Finale which is an absolutely MASSIVE festival held every year. We'll have some representatives out from several companies showing off products like new boards, winches, etc… as well as the actual winch demo going on all day, with an awesome wakeboard feature starting at 6pm in the competition white water channel right infront of the stage. It’s a huge party with bands, food, oyster roast, you name it. The venue is amazing and watching the kayaking and rafting alone is worth the trip… we were amazed at how sick this place was the first time we sessioned it. Everyone be sure to come out to check out all the action on and off the water! I've been working on a new rail just for this event and look forward to seeing everyone's response!! Its gonna be DOPE!! Whats up Everyone

I dont know about you all.. but we are still catching our breaths from this past weekends' LF Demo Day and Rail Revealing Event. Holy cow...it was soo much fun hanging out and shredding the new rail with Kevin Henshaw, the LF crew, and a TON of riders from all over the region.. We were soo lucky with the weather and are super pumped that Spring is FINALLY here..

Anyways, I wanted to give a shout out to the awesome guys over at SHREDREADY HELMETS. Henshaw has designed a super creative rail that he, I and a few others will be secretly building a few days before the event. The NEW RAIL will be covered and hidden until the HUGE revealing on Saturday March 13th at 10am. After the secret rail is uncovered, the shredding will begin.

ECWP has the new 2010 Hybrid Watson, Henshaw FLX and several other 2010 Grind Based boards as well as 2010 Bindings so here's your chance to try them out!!!

We are looking forward to having everyone out to The East Coast Wake Park and kicking off the start of the season with us, Henny, and Liquid Force!! We will have food and drinks on site, so don't worry about having to leave the action to grab lunch. Be sure to mark March 13th on your calendars and don't forget to bring your wetsuit...

Hey Everyone... Gonna have a couple folks come out today to session the new Roof Top in our winch park! The weather is calling for a high of 53 and Im really excited about seeing the sun!! I have seemed to misplace my SD card for my camera so I wasnt able to take any elaborate shots of the new rail to post yesterday but snagged one with my phone for everyone to see. I will pick another card up today and try to shoot some of our session...

Hey Gals and Guys... Hope everyone had a great weekend, and for those of you who live west of here, I hope yall survived the winter storms. I sure wish we coulda been lucky enough to see some snow...Unfortunately, all we got Friday and Saturday was some very COLD rain. My fingers are crossed for the next one!

Luckily, today was chilly but absolutely beautiful and Greenville had their annual Christmas Parade. Myself and Cam Shumay got a chance to pull this beautiful Mastercrft X-9 full of Kids throwing candy and discount coupons for Overtons Watersports. We had a great time and were stoked to get a chance to spread ECWP and some christmas cheer throughout the streets of Greenville. Its crazy how kids FLOCK to falling candy!!

We have a few guys scheduled to come ride this Tuesday, so it makes me feel good Im not the only one willing to suffer the cold to ride!! Im pretty stoked to ride myself and definitely ready to see some pretty rail dancing....Stay tuned for what happens...

Hey everyone, I had a special treat waiting for me on the porch the other day. Opened it up and WaaaaLaaaa!! Holy Cow the sickest board in the world!!!! I got a chance to ride it around the park today and it was incredible!! It FLEXES good and has more pop than any board Ive ever ridden. The grind base is intense and seems to be holding up better than any board Ive ever slid hardly making any marks on the bottom. It is soo fast and so smooth on any rail whether its trex or HDPE, wet or dry doesn't matter!! I would literally excellerate once the board hit the rail material. Hands down the sickest rail/cable board ever!!! I would HIGHLY suggest going out and ordering yourself one!!!

Hey everyone, the guys Teleprompted Anthems and the Wilmington crew rolled through this past weekend to get some rail footage for their upcoming video that's going to be released. They have been working hard and counting down the days until the big premier. It is scheduled to premier at Riverfest in Wilmington the first weekend in October. Above are a few shots from the few days they spent here filming shot by Scott Hudson, from Wake Riders Connection Magazine. New Rails at ECWP

Hey Everyone. Sorry for the delay in updates, things have been busy and we have been slammed here at ECWP. We have a new rail built in the Sea Doo lake and have also gotten a few things up and running in the winch park. So far, there are 6 rails in the Sea Doo park, and 2 rails and a start rail located in the separate Winch Park. Here are a few pics of the new rails constructed within the past week. Hey guys, we finally finished another rail at the ECWP. It's a 60 foot A-Frame with a 24 foot Flat Bar attached to one end making it a total of 84 ft, with the top of the A-Frame sitting 5 1/2 feet above the water.
